Start with the quality required at the point of use
Compressed air quality depends on more than the compressor. Atmospheric moisture, particles, lubricant carryover and contamination in distribution pipework can all affect what reaches your equipment.
We first establish the quality required by the application, then select the treatment stages needed to achieve it. This avoids treating connection size, compressor motor power or a single filter grade as a complete specification. WMC can provide installation and commissioning and agree planned maintenance for the treatment equipment.

Design and maintain the treatment train together
The arrangement depends on the compressor, dryer technology and process. Coalescing pre-filtration may protect sensitive equipment; a desiccant dryer may need downstream dust filtration. There is no single filter sequence that suits every system.
We review pressure loss and capacity at the actual operating conditions. Filter restrictions, failed drains and unsuitable temperatures can undermine good equipment. Planned servicing includes the treatment components as well as the compressor.

Do I need both a dryer and filters?
Often, yes. Dryers control water vapour while filters address specified particles, aerosols or oil vapour. They have different functions.
Does oil-free compression remove the need for treatment?
No. Moisture and particles may still need controlling, and the complete installation determines delivered air quality.
Can you improve an existing system?
Yes. We can review water carryover, contamination, pressure loss and maintenance condition before recommending targeted improvements or replacement.
