Design for the operating pattern and the unexpected
A single variable-speed machine, a fixed-speed base-load compressor with a trim machine, and a sequenced multi-compressor installation each suit different demand patterns. We review minimum and peak demand, shifts and the consequences of a machine being unavailable.
The installation also needs enough cooling air or cooling water, suitable electrical capacity, accessible service space and correctly sized treatment. We agree replacement timing, positioning, connections and commissioning before work starts.

Is a larger compressor always safer?
Oversizing can create inefficient part-load operation. We size around measured demand, peaks and future capacity rather than adding arbitrary motor power.
Can you replace a compressor while production continues?
We plan the changeover and assess temporary or backup air where required. The agreed programme depends on your plant and access.
Can heat recovery be included?
Suitable machines offer recovery options. We check the available heat, temperature, useful demand and installation cost before recommending it.
